Not ready for commitment? Don't have to be, semi-permenant hair dye is the best! Best thing about it is that it works on dark hair!
The semi-permenant hair dye I use is great in many ways because :
1. It's cheap
2. It works for all hair colours and types
3. It acts as a conditioner so it won't damage your hair
4. It comes with several colours
However the bad side to this product is that it's:
1. Hard to find
2. It washes out
3. Some find it hard to apply
4. It can get messy and stain your floors or skin for a couple days
But once you star getting used to it, you avoid making mistakes and a mess!(:
The hair dye I use is la fiche
I use several colours but my favorites have been the crease, tulip and fire
1. I start off by putting a towel on the floor, I recommend using a dark colour, so if it does stain it won't be so visible . I also wrap a towel around my shoulders and my neck so my skin won't get the colour.
(Yes my hair was crazy haha)
2. I then section of my hair into 6 pieces because my hair is very thick and coarse and I would need a lot more dye
3. I put on my gloves, and this is a must because you don't want to walk around with stained coloured fingers and hands. You can use a brush to apply your hair dye but I just like using my fingers
5. After I did all of my hair I like to twist my hair and clip it up so it will dry up quick and it won't be in the way
I usually wait around 25-30mins but if your hair is finer you can wait from 10-15mins. But If your hair is fine, thin or light you should use about 1/4 of the dye but I use about 1/2.
WARNING!!
Do not be scared when you wash your hair, yes your bath will go insanely neon pink, and the dye will stay on your hair so be calm!
Finally I blow dry my hair and this was the result :)
